Hello, I am Makale McGhee, founder and leading makeup artist of BEAUTEEANDTHEBEAT, here in Memphis, TN. Since Junior High, my classmates always referred to me as the girl who was always applying lip gloss to her lips. My love for lipgloss continued into high school and soon after I began to experience makeup professionally. I was able to gain experience early, alongside some of the best instructors in the city. With years of practice and a growing clientele, I decided to take BEAUTEEANDTHEBEAT  to new heights.  I travel for high profile clients in the region, weddings, graduations, bachelorette parties, etc.

     I graduated from The University of Memphis with a bachelors in Marketing and a minor in Spanish.

When people ask me what motivates me to continue doing makeup, the answer is easy. I do it for the smiles and satisfaction my clients' faces as they each view their finished product.  I believe that every woman deserves to feel beautiful.  When I do my clients’ makeup, it gives them a feeling that uplifts spirits, allowing them to shine from the inside out, almost like magic.  I have made a profession out of working my magic, and I insist on having a shining personality simply as a plus! ✨
